Self-publishing - Company Logo

It’s been an educational journey since deciding to self-publish and set up my own publishing company in 2021. I really enjoy the writing but I’ve had to spend more time on marketing, finance, and promotion. It’s still a work in progress!

One of my favorite activities has been working on a company logo with an illustrator.

I decided to publish under my grandmother’s maiden name, Hazel, so I knew I wanted my logo to represent that.

We had a lot of great options, and I was very indecisive. We had to look at how the logo’s looked on the cover and on the spine.

Finally, I decided on the following:
